HATCH is an acronym that stands for Healthy Attachments Therapeutic Children’s Homes.
We offer therapeutic care for young people who have complex emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our caring, structured, and stimulating environment is responsive to individual needs and significantly contributes to positive outcomes.
Our Therapeutic Approach
Our therapeutic approach is based on the PACE Therapeutic Parenting model of care. PACE is an acronym that stands for Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy.
PACE is a way of thinking, feeling, communicating, and behaving that aims to make the young person feel safe.
We understand that young people require to be cared for in a tailored PACEful environment in order to ensure that their needs are met and that they are enabled to achieve their full potential.
